Online Polish courses – choose a course to fit your goal: exam, work, offices
Pol-Langua teaches Polish to foreigners exclusively online, via Google Meet. You choose a course by your goal: the B1 or B2 exam, the consul interview for the Karta Polaka, dealing with offices, work or everyday conversation. A lesson lasts 50 minutes, groups have up to 5 people, and every course starts with a trial lesson with a level diagnosis. Not sure what to choose? The table below will help, and the teacher will confirm your choice at the trial lesson.
How to choose a Polish course
First name your goal, then check your level – only these two things together point to the right course. The same person at level A2 needs a different programme if they are taking an exam in three months than if they simply want to chat more freely with their neighbours. If you do not know your level, start with the placement test – the result shows an approximate level, and the teacher will determine the exact one in the trial lesson.
| Your goal | Course | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|
| B1 certificate (citizenship, EU long-term resident) | B1 exam preparation | level A2 and above, exam within the next few months |
| Checking yourself before the exam session | B1 mock exam, oral exam simulation | people who want to know their weak points |
| The last weeks before the exam | B1 Sprint | people close to B1 level |
| Studying in Polish, specialist work | B2 preparation | level B1 and above |
| Consul interview for the Karta Polaka | “Karta Polaka” course | people applying for the Karta Polaka |
| Dealing with offices, ZUS, NFZ, renting a flat | Polish for offices | level A1–B1 |
| Work in Poland | Polish at work (by industry), business Polish | manual workers, office staff, IT, managers |
| Fluent conversation | Conversation, pronunciation and accent | level A2–C1 |
| Starting from zero | Polish from scratch | people with no knowledge of Polish |
| Your partner’s family, life with a Polish partner | Polish for partners | mixed couples |
| A programme fully tailored to you | Private lessons, intensive course | any level, from A1 to C2 |
What you get on every course
We run every course by the same rules, regardless of goal and level:
- 50-minute lessons on Google Meet – all you need is a computer or tablet with a camera and headphones.
- Groups of up to 5 people (the conversation club – up to 6), so everyone speaks in every lesson. You can also choose individual lessons.
- Explanations in Polish, English, Russian or Spanish – we explain grammar in a language you understand.
- Questions to the teacher via WhatsApp between classes – you do not wait a week with a doubt.
- A monthly progress report – also for private learners, not only for companies.
- A trial lesson with a level diagnosis at the start – after it we set the date of your group or lessons.
Group or private lessons
A group works well when you have a typical goal and a regular schedule, and individual lessons when the goal is unusual, the deadline is close or your schedule changes. In a group you practise speaking with other learners and learn from their questions. In private lessons the teacher works only on your mistakes and adjusts the pace to you. Many learners combine both: a group course and a few individual lessons before the exam. You can read how online learning differs from in-person learning in our comparison of both forms.
How to get started
- Take the placement test or simply write to us about what you need.
- Book a trial lesson – the teacher checks your speaking, comprehension and writing, and then suggests a course and a pace.
- Choose the form – a group or individual lessons, and agree on the class schedule.
- Start learning – you get the plan and materials from the first lesson.
Looking for a course for your company’s employees? See our offer for companies. If you are learning for a residence matter, we explain the language requirements in the guide to the B1 exam.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the course after I start learning?
Yes. If your goal changes – for example, you need a certificate instead of conversation – the teacher will adjust the programme, and the progress from your earlier lessons is not wasted.
Do you run Polish courses for children?
No. Our courses are intended for adults – we teach people who work, study or deal with residence matters in Poland.
Are the courses held in a specific city?
No. We teach exclusively online, so you can take part in a course from anywhere in Poland or abroad.
Can I take two courses at the same time?
Yes, for example a B1 preparation group and a conversation club. In the trial lesson the teacher will tell you whether it makes sense with your schedule.
50 minutes with a teacher: a level diagnosis and a study plan tailored to your goal.
